great access to shinjuku parks and local eateries

I had a fantastic stay, where I discovered Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden just a few steps away and enjoyed delicious ramen from a nearby spot that was less than a 5-minute walk, making my city exploration seamless and enjoyable.

Helpful front desk staff made our stay easier.

The room was poorly designed and cramped. We had a limited cleaning service and the trash wasn't picked up regularly. The lobby was filled with cigarette smoke, making it uncomfortable to relax. Overall, I felt we didn't get our money's worth for the terrible experience.

Only two elevators create long waits!!! Bathroom tilting and cramped room layout need attention!!! Also, the cigarette smoke stench in the lobby and elevator requires a better ventilation strategy!!!

The room was spacious enough to accommodate my family, and having a washing machine was a lifesaver during our stay. We enjoyed the convenience of nearby restaurants and some lovely vending machines that offered drinks and snacks for the kids.

My kids wished for a bigger variety in the breakfast options, especially for something sweeter. A few more kid-friendly menu items would be great.

Exploring Shinjuku was a feast! The close-knit 371Bar had killer drinks, and the culinary gem, Kushiyaki Bistro Fukumimi, served skewers that made my taste buds dance. Plus, the staff's warmth and the comfy room made my stay feel like home.

The Single Room was super tiny, but that's just Tokyo. The shower stall was surprisingly spacious with great water pressure. The bed was decent, slightly wider than a typical twin. Plus, having a mini fridge was a nice touch! It could get cramped with luggage, so be careful. The daily towel and amenity exchange was handy too, since the room doesn't get fully cleaned daily. It was clean, but yeah, tight space for two large suitcases.

I spent 6 nights in the Double Room with Small Double Bed at Tokyu Stay in Shinjuku. The location couldn’t be better. Just a short walk to Shinjuku station and surrounded by tons of eateries. The room was clean and modern, equipped with all the essentials, including a washer/dryer combo. This feature really helped minimize laundry stress during my trip. The bed felt cozy after long days exploring the city. I appreciated the friendly staff. they went above and beyond in helping with dinner reservations and providing useful tips for getting around. However, the housekeeping only occurred on longer stays, which felt a bit limiting for a 6-night visit. I had to request new towels manually, which can be a hassle for some. The elevators were frequently busy, making waits a bit long. I also noticed the bathroom lacked any bathtub, so keep that in mind if you’re looking for that amenity.

I loved the warm color scheme throughout the hotel, which created a cozy atmosphere. The accessibility to nearby metro stations was especially convenient for me as a senior, making it easy to explore Tokyo without hassle.

More flexibility with check-in times would help seniors.

The breakfast offered a good mix of options, but could cater to more diverse preferences. Overall, a cozy yet space-efficient choice for travelers.
